ABOUT ME
Who Am I
My name is Maciek. I have always been intrested in technology. Unfortunately, I have chosen my studies wrong. I'm civil engineering student, but I was learning programming on my own. Half year ago I passed the test and got the chance to participate in Coders Camp Course. It's web developer course where you work in team and create group projects. I have learned a lot and I am still learning. I feel that this is what I want to do in my life.
Apart from programming and studying, I like photography. When I was a child I got my first camera. Since this moment I took thousands of pictures. I love macro, portraits, landscapes... everything.
PROJECT 1
Personal Portfolio
First project I made with HTML and CSS, without JavaScript. Throughout this project I learned how to use CSS and make responsive website.
PROJECT 2
Website to learn German
My second individual project. I made it with HTML, SCSS and JavaScript. This is website where you can learn German using flashcards. You can choose one of three modules: polish-german, german-polish or phrases. In the future I want to add control panel, where user can add new flashcards and save progress.
PROJECT 3
Restaurant search website
A Brave Squirrels Team first ever project. We created a Restaurants-API Single-page web app. All you have to do, is type in the name of city you are intrested in. You will be rewarded with a list of best restaurants in that city! Throughout this project I learned JavaScript and how to use API. Additionally, I learned how to work in IT team and work on Git branches.
PROJECT 4
Board game - Her
Second project of Brave Squirrels Team. This time we created browser version of a role-playing board game inspired by the game "Escape Tales". Throughout this project I learned practical use TypeScript.
